G2 is a software platform for evaluating user specified models of secondary growth in trees.

The software is developed as a forestry research tool for use on Unix and Windows environments.

G2 consists of two programs: G2Mod evaluates users models, input in text form; G2Vis allows 3D visualisation of model output data.
